Class Action Litigation

Class Action Cases on Behalf of Employees and Consumers

For the past 20 years, we have brought class action cases on behalf of individual employees and consumers. While the majority of our cases have a Massachusetts focus, we have handled class actions in various U.S. jurisdictions.

Class actions are often among our largest cases because they provide an efficient solution to common problems. Small individual claims are not often economical to pursue individually, but when a business wrongly deprives hundreds or thousands of people of modest amounts, a class action becomes an extremely useful way of aggregating claims. Similarly, employees fearing retaliation may hesitate to individually pursue wage violations, but the class action mechanism allows a single representative to work on behalf of the entire affected group.

This approach has allowed us to recover millions for workers and consumers over the years, providing justice to many who would have been without an effective remedy without the class action mechanism.
